Annapurna Circuit Part I
08-05-2010 04:35:54 Nepal
After 17 days of walking, 211km, up to a hight of 5300 meter (one of the highest passes in the world), 1000 photo's and all this on 25 dollar boots. I completed the full Annapurna Circuit. From Besishar to Nayapul via Poonhill. It was one of the hardest things I ever done in my life. Hard in the way of fiscal labor and hard as a mental challenge to walk a bit more at the end of a day. This is the first part in my report of the trip. Day 1 to 6 the first week. Pretty easy I can judge now, but it felt hard when I was walking. From Besishar to Manang where I had my 3000 meter acclimatisation day.
Lost the text below and I'm not in the mood to write it again now, so you'll have to do with the pictures. I should update my CMS with an automatic save function.
