Pokhara, Happy New Year 2067

Arriving in Pokhara was as arriving in every tourist city in Azia. Touts, touts, taxi drivers, touts and a lot of "No thank you", "What don't you get of the word NO", "F- off", "Leave me alone". It's always nice to arrive somewhere else. Walked to the first Hotel we could find together with Tom my fellow Dutchman and Brabander (a part of the south of Holland). Nice room, good price with breakfast, TV and Bath. We found out that where pretty far from the city center, what is a good thing if you want peace and quite but sucks to walk every day 30 minutes to a nice bar.
I meet up with the German girls I meet before in India, Milena en Lara. Cool to see them again and instant fun with word jokes when Milena speaks English. We rented a motorbike and scooter and went up a dirt road to a small river. The motorbike was a lot more comfor-table then the scooter. They both got nice nicknames... The motorbike became "the Beast" and the scooter became "Daisy". both strong, but Dasiy got extra applause for holding it together on the rocky, dusty road. She even did a better job then "the Beast" who didn't want to start after a few kilometers. Lucky that all Nepale's drive motorbike, so they some how fixed it in a minute. The River was nice and excluded we tought, only to find out that excluded means having a road next to our spot. But this far out of the city there is allmost nobody there. Although the girls got some attention of the local boys. Who probably had a really nice sleep the next coming night.
In the meantime Josephine arrived in Pokhara after a trekking of 8 days. Josephine was one of the 8 people I traveld with in India. See met a Belgium girl from Brugge. (Now Tom and me couldn't speak brabands anymore because the girl could hear everything, to bad... :-P).
Now 5 days later the Girls left, Tom is almost home, he took a bus to Delhi of 36 hours and has his flight this Friday. Hope he arrived alive. We even celebrated 2067 New Year yesterday night. Fireworks and everything, they are still celebrating.
In a few days I leave Pokhara to go trekking, minimal 14 days but probably 18/19 for the Annapurna Circuit. So the next update will probably be in a week or 3. Don't worry, there are a lot of people on the trek so I should be fine! And I will have some lovely pictures of the Mounteverst. Hear you later!
